Nogales, Arizona has a rich history that dates back thousands of years when ancient native peoples' trade routes went through the combined area.
The name Nogales comes from the Spanish word "walnut" and walnut trees once grew abundantly in the mountain pass between the city of Nogales, Arizona and Nogales, Mexico.
This year, the theme is learning about family and local history. Our field trips will include Patagonia Historical Museum and Bird Sanctuary and the County Court House.
There will be a guest artist and a dance instructor to help with our many activities. Lunch will be provided, so come register at the museum or call 520-287-4621. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
For more information, please call (520) 287-4621.
We would love to share additional information with you about our area, visiting the museum, and more.
